The Washington National Cathedral, also known as National Cathedral, proudly stands as an American cathedral affiliated with the Episcopal Church. Its stunning architecture reflects the Neo-Gothic style, closely mirroring the English Gothic design from the late fourteenth century. Remarkably, it ranks as the second-largest church building in the United States and stands as the third-tallest building in Washington, D.C.

Construction of this majestic cathedral commenced on September 29, 1907, with the laying of the foundation stone graced by the presence of President Theodore Roosevelt and a crowd exceeding 20,000 people. The awe-inspiring journey took 83 years to complete, culminating in the placement of the "final finial" in the presence of President George H. W. Bush in 1990.

An annual pilgrimage of over 270,000 visitors bears witness to the grandeur and significance of this magnificent structure, drawing people from far and wide to admire its beauty and historical importance.

The co-founder of A. B. Newton and Company, Andy Crabtree, skillfully depicted this iconic landmark with a delightful blend of playful and sophisticated artistic flair.
