Three Soldiers, alternatively known as Three Servicemen, stands as a remarkable bronze statue crafted by the talented artist Frederick Hart. This poignant sculpture was unveiled on Veterans Day, November 11, 1984, and serves as a significant component of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, a poignant tribute to the Vietnam War. Notably, this sculpture holds a historic distinction as it marks the first representation of an African American on the revered grounds of the National Mall.
The co-founder of A. B. Newton and Company, Andy Crabtree, skillfully depicted this iconic landmark with a delightful blend of playful and sophisticated artistic flair.
